Campaign Disclaimer

This is the official campaign website of Friends of Jeresia Ewell for RJUHSD TA2 2026. This campaign committee may be referred to as the campaign in later sections. This website was Paid for by Friends of Jeresia Ewell for RJUHSD TA2 2026.

This campaign, its committee, and this website are not affiliated with, or sponsored by the Roseville Joint Union High School District (RJUHSD), any individual school, or any government agency. References to the district, its schools, public agencies, organizations, employers, or professional titles are provided for identification and informational purposes and do not imply endorsement of the organizations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, endorsements appearing on this website are made in the endorsers’ personal capacities. Titles, employers, organizations, and affiliations are listed for identification purposes only and do not imply that the associated organization has endorsed this candidate.

General Website Disclaimer

The campaign makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current. Campaign information, events, endorsements, positions, election requirements, contribution rules, and other content may change. The campaign does not guarantee that every page will always be complete, current, or free from typographical or technical errors.

Information on this website is provided for general campaign and public-information purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, tax, financial, or professional advice.

This website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. Those third parties control their own content, availability, security, and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement by the campaign.

Contributions

Contributions to the campaign are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, contribution limits, reporting requirements, and source restrictions. The campaign may decline, return, or refund any contribution that it believes is prohibited, excessive, incomplete, or otherwise inappropriate.

Political contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

Information about certain contributors and contributions must be reported to government agencies and may become part of publicly available campaign-finance records. Depending on applicable reporting requirements, publicly disclosed information may include a contributor’s name, address, occupation, employer, contribution amount, and contribution date. We are required to fill out those forms and turn them into the county and state.

Online contributions are processed through a third-party payment processor, currently Givebutter. Payment-card and banking information is collected and processed by that provider under its own terms and privacy policy. The campaign does not receive or retain complete payment-card numbers unless a donor provides it directly for the purpose of receiving help in the donation process (e.g., they don't have access to the website). Otherwise, when they enter it into the provided donation system, that information is secure and confidential to that donation system, and credit card details are not accessible or shared with this campaign.

Endorsements, Quotes, and Photographs

When you submit an endorsement, quotation, photograph, title, affiliation, or other material for publication and authorize its use, you grant the campaign permission to reproduce, edit for length or clarity without changing its meaning, publish, display, and distribute that material in campaign communications. These communications may include the campaign website, social media, email, printed literature, advertisements, presentations, videos, and other campaign materials.

You represent that you have the right to submit the material and that its use by the campaign will not violate another person’s rights.

You may unsubscribe from campaign emails by using the unsubscribe link included in an email or by contacting the campaign.

When you expressly consent to receive campaign text messages, the campaign or its service providers may send recurring campaign and election-related messages, including messages sent using automated technology. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to a campaign text message to opt out. Consent to receive automated calls or text messages is not required to make a contribution, volunteer, endorse the candidate, or otherwise support the campaign. But you should be able to easily opt out of their material after they send it to you.

Mobile telephone numbers, text-message opt-in records, and consent information will not be sold or provided to outside organizations for their independent marketing or fundraising. This information may be provided to service providers solely as necessary to send campaign communications, maintain consent records, and comply with applicable requirements.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies, server logs, analytics tools, security tools, embedded content, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember preferences, measure website usage, identify referring sources, improve performance, and protect against spam or malicious activity.

Third-party services embedded in or linked from the website, including payment processors, social-media services, analytics providers, spam-prevention services, and video or mapping services, may collect information under their own privacy policies. Depending on the service and your settings, those providers may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites.

How We Share Information

The campaign may disclose information to:

  • Campaign employees, officers, consultants, contractors, volunteers, and the campaign treasurer when they need the information to perform campaign work

Data Retention

The campaign retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to conduct campaign activities, respond to requests, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve disputes, protect the website, and satisfy campaign-finance, tax, accounting, reporting, and other legal requirements.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately because campaign committees are legally required to preserve financial, contributor, expenditure, and compliance documentation.
